Does it cost a lot money to raise a child?

I know this might be a common question pop up in every parent’s mind. I like to know from you if you think that it cost a lot money to raise a child, to my hubby it is just think of the education that they need to study for after graduate from school. Now my brother-in-law David has to raise four children, three of them are in Secondary school and one of them is going for college next year.

Ten years ago when I attend for the Diploma course it cost my dad RM12,000. Now I am sure the cost is even more, anyone care to share how much it cost to go college for their courses? My hubby’s relative said it will cost RM30,000 or more depend on what course you take.
