Listen to me?!

By twinshappiness | Aug 26, 2009

Since brother-in-law David’s two children are here, I need to guide one of them to revision on the exercise books. The problem is he is not listening to me and not bothers a word I said. I have advice him to read up so everyone can listen but he is not willing and nobody knows if he read it.

All he is doing is playing with my son and they are playing games most of the time. I can feel that sister-in-law is not happy with him coming here as she wants him to study at home. I told sister-in-law Jen to tell him to read up but he still act the same.

Tell me how do you guide your kids to study or do their home work? Let’s share your experience here.

My sons are the same TH.

Sometimes I make a bargain, they can watch TV after revision… if not I’ll take away the TV/Astro remote control.

If it’s pc game, just password protect your pc so they can’t use it.

We have to be ‘garang sikit’. Too lenient, that’s why they take advantage of us :)
