Have you come across woodweave roman blinds (I used these guys for mine, based in the UK, but I’m sure a lot of US based ones do these type of blinds). They’re essentially a type of roman blind, but made of woven wood. You get all the benefits of a roman blind but you can also hang them in bathrooms or kitchens as they can be cleaned by using a damp cloth.
